The Science of NAD+ Therapy

At Sanctuary Tulum, NAD+ IV therapy is one of several IV therapies administered as part of the Pouyan Method™. It serves a specific clinical purpose: restoring cellular energy, supporting mitochondrial function, and providing neuroprotective benefits. NAD+ IV therapy is a separate and distinct therapy from our proprietary Brain Repair IV Drip.
Chronic substance use — whether alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or stimulants — dramatically depletes NAD+ levels.1 That depletion is one of the reasons withdrawal feels so devastating: the brain doesn't have enough cellular energy to function normally, let alone repair itself. NAD+ IV Therapy vs. Brain Repair IV Drip
It is important to understand that NAD+ IV therapy and the Brain Repair IV Drip are completely different therapies with distinct clinical functions:
- • NAD+ IV Therapy — cellular energy coenzyme that supports ATP production, mitochondrial function, DNA repair, and anti-aging. Used for longevity, fatigue, brain energy, and neuroprotection.
- • Brain Repair IV Drip — a proprietary neurochemical reset protocol developed by Johnny Tabaie that resets serotonin, GABA, and glutamate receptors. Used for pharmaceutical dependency, benzodiazepine withdrawal, and SSRI discontinuation.
Both therapies are administered at Sanctuary Tulum, but they are never combined into one IV and serve entirely different purposes. NAD+ does not reset neurotransmitter receptors. The Brain Repair IV Drip does not provide cellular energy support. They complement each other as part of the Pouyan Method™ but are administered as separate, standalone protocols.
